This set of WW1 postcards used to hang on the wall of Billy Stephens Barber’s shop on Market Hill for many years in the same format and sequence as shown below. Unfortunately due to the exposure to light over those years the colours used on the cards have faded considerably from the originals. However the cards and their messages are still very visible.
